Water Resource Technician

Full-Time Temporary (Seasonal)

Capitol Region Watershed District seeks a Water Resource Technician who will assist with stormwater monitoring and other data collection of the Capitol Region Watershed District. This will include stormwater discharges at key outlets on the Mississippi River and stormwater Best Management Practices.

Applicants seeking an Associate or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in the field of Water Resources, Earth Science, Natural Resources, Civil Engineering, or related field are preferred. $20.00/hr depending on qualifications and experience.

Right Track WaterCorps Internship

Part-Time, Temporary

Capitol Region Watershed District (CRWD) seeks two Right Track WaterCorps interns who are interested in learning more about careers in watershed management.  The interns will be exposed to all elements of CRWD’s work during their nine weeks of employment.  Activities will include assisting with water quality monitoring, clean water projects and permit site inspections, communications, and community engagement.  The interns will report to the Communications and Engagement Division Manager.

This position pays $19.32 per hour for up to 35 hours per week and includes one paid holiday during the term of employment.
